Electricians by city
Electricians by city in Nevada.
Most people look by town rather than county. These are the Nevada cities with the most listed businesses — each is the address the business gives in public records, not a claim about how far it will travel.
We track 57,787 state-listed electricians in Texas, Washington, Minnesota, Nevada, California and Florida — yours may already be listed. Create or claim your free profile and get quote requests from homeowners in the counties you serve.
Nevada electrical permits come from the city or county building department, under the building code that city or county adopts; NSCB licenses the contractor.
Nevada licenses electrical contractors at the state level through the Nevada State Contractors Board (NSCB), in classification C-2. Building codes are local: the governing body of a city or county may adopt a building code and fix the fees for building permits (NRS 278.580), and may enforce the code by withholding building permits through a city or county building official (NRS 278.570). An electrical permit and its inspections come from the city or county building department with jurisdiction; NSCB’s own guidance sends a permit application to the building department.
A county page here is the list of verified companies filed in that county, not a permit rule. Verified provider listings are thinner: we only list a company once we’ve matched it to a current NSCB license, so many counties show none yet. We’d rather show the gap than pad the directory with names we haven’t checked. How we verify
